Since 2005, we have begun the practices at the headquarters of Av. San Juan 2655 by the hand of a group of black belts led by professors Juan Carlos Yamamoto, Alberto Muscio and Marcelo Pereira who feel a strong commitment to dissemination, the teaching and practice of pure and traditional Judo.

Judo is such a broad and rich discipline that it allows those who practice it a great breadth in their approach.

There may be those who consider it a simple combat sport, or others who consider it an art or a science.

The motivations for practicing it can also be very diverse, for example, there will be those who train trying to reach high competition, others who practice it only as a physical or recreational activity for their health and well-being or others who practice it to improve their knowledge of personal defense.

All these ways of approaching or practicing Judo are valid and respectable, provided that their practice is aimed at improving or strengthening physically and spiritually those who practice it and is based on fundamental ethical and moral values such as mutual respect, humility and discipline. , being the instructor's task to interest and introduce practitioners all the dimensions that Judo has.

Our JudoCOA Dojo aims to be a space where anyone, whatever their age, sex or previous knowledge, can enjoy the practice of Judo, assimilating or perfecting its techniques and cultivating the ethical and moral values mentioned.
